Ray, the newest member of the Blues Drifters, possesses both talent and experience. Though he is young in years he has played enough to know what he expects of band members. He is serious about his music. His addition to the band has had real impact. Songs that used to be difficult are now easy to play because of Ray.

Ray is a student at Collin County Community College in Plano, Texas, where he met Matt "History Professor" Coulter. Ray was a Jazz drummer in high school and has played with rock and country bands as well. His disciplined style works well with DrBlooz's no-nonsense foundation approach to the bass. The result is most noticed by TrainTime on blues harp, Dana, the Saxman, and Mike on lead guitar. With the foundation so secure, the lead players are free to reach for new horizons knowing that they will have firm footing to come back to. You owe it to yourself to watch this man play the drums some night soon. Keep an eye on the lead musicians and watch them smile as they play over Ray's steady percussion. Ray may even sing a song or two if the right feeling hits.
