Serving Up Some Chicago Style Blues

Born and Raised in Canada, a long way from the vibrant blues scene of Chicago, Mark has been playing drums for 20+ years. Musical Influences of mainstream rock, alternative and blues have shaped his styling.

Mark met TrainTime at the weekly Blues Jam at Carter's Place in Lockport, Illinois. The Blues Drifters were looking for a drummer at the time. TrainTime fronted for a couple jams and sang the "Sky is Crying." Half-way through the song, during a guitar solo, Traintime turned to Mark and told him about the special ending and breaks he had planned. Well ... Mark nailed it. That event provided the test and audition for TrainTime to extend an invitation to join the band.
